Job description
Perido is looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator for our client. The company is a well-known player active within the trading and stock market business. The position is placed inStockholm.

For this position you need to have a sound knowledge in administrating SQL Server databases. The job will require you to show an in depth knowledge of including stand alone and clustered configurations as well as an understanding of how to perform cluster disk work to add and extend LUNs for the databases from an OS perspective. You should have a high degree of skill in trouble shooting performance and implantation of automation and maintenance routines. It is also important that you enjoy the administrative aspect of the role.

Required qualifications
Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience of working with SQL Server 2005, 2008 or 2012.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of installations including stand alone and clustered configurations
- In depth understanding of how to perform cluster disk work to add and extend LUNs for the databases from an OS perspective.
- Knowledge of TSQL/PLSQL, Stored Procedures, database creation, DB backup, DB restores, SQL jobs, linked servers, MSDTC, logins, network copies, SQL Copies (BCP, DTS, SSIS, Bulk)
- You express yourself well in Swedish and English, in both speaking and writing
