You will be part of the Health, Safety, Environment department. We are an engaged and skilled team supporting the organization to improve HSE performance within the business and to fulfill internal and external requirements. Our vision in NKT is – We Connect a Greener World.

Supportive colleague with internal and external contacts
You will play a key role in driving improvements within the environment area. An important part of your work will be to support our organization by providing processes to reduce the environmental impact. You will be the point of contact with the environmental authorities and securing permits according to legislation.
You will participate in cross functional teams for example waste and energy efficiency to improve performance. Furthermore, you will develop, document and implement routines and instructions to improve our work methods. You will also be part of investigations to identify root causes, suggest solutions and ensure implementation.
On a daily business this is what the role includes:
* Implement and maintain effective local procedures in the operations to enhance the Environmental performance and ensure fulfillment of requirements.
* Maintain the list of laws and other requirements relating to Environment.
* Coordinate yearly evaluation of law compliance.
* Coordinate scope of work within ISO 14001.
* Support the operations in achieving Environmental objectives.
* Report & Analyze Environmental KPI´s for the site.
* Provide solutions and advice in the day-to-day operations.
* Participate or lead root cause analysis of incidents and accidents.
* Act as a speaking partner and participate in risk assessments.
* Ensures required and adequate measurements are performed within the environmental scope, such as external noise measurements, emissions to air and water.
* Coordinate yearly risk and environmental aspects assessment.
* Secure permits according to the legislation.
* Point of contact with environmental authorities and external stakeholders.
Experienced and able to develop sustainable relations
You have great experience from previous Environmental work, and you can work independent and take own initiatives. With your collaborative and communicative skills, you easily develop sustainable relations and you are able to support and increase the awareness of environment. Combining this with your ability to think systematically, you contribute to our success.
Additionally, your CV includes:
* You preferably have a Master’s degree in science
* Permit management
* Experience from contact with authorities
* Fluency in English and Swedish is a must
