About this opportunity

Welcome to the Backend Development team inside Software Development capability within Group Functions Technology. We add value by providing the required capabilities and expertise in the backend application development for many solutions in the bank based on different technologies. As a senior developer, you’ll play a valuable role in working closely with product owners, architects & analysts to refine the epics of the value stream/agile release train. In addition you will support multiple other systems handling card transaction disputes, Malware Detection detecting fraud/malware on real time channels/netbank and Case Management supporting investigators of fraud with a need for integration between different systems.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a senior developers to work close with Product Owners, Solution Architects and Analysts to refine epics, user stories and translate solution architecture into technical design and working software, lead technical teams by setting high development standards and applying industry best practices.

You should have following skills to contribute efficiently:
* design thinking and analytical skills,
* leadership, mentoring and strong communication skills,
* micro services architecture, integration patterns.


You’ll join a team of experts with great experience and skills in the data integration and reconciliation area where we learn from each other and grow together as team and individuals.

The role is based in Stockholm in Sweden or Gdańsk / Warsaw in Poland

You have :  
* Strong experience of server-side Java development skills : Java SE master level, Spring or Spring Boot, Web Services(SOAP / REST),  Microservices architecture, integration patterns.
* Strong experience of performance analysis, profiling and optimization - experience in building distributed systems, messaging technologies (Kafka).
* Strong experience with relational databases, Oracle (developer), Db2 (SQL / stored procedures), NoSQL databases, caching (Oracle, Redis),
* Experience of working with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus repository
* Experience of working in agile team setup following DevOps model,
* Experience of Hadoop ecosystem and big data volumes processing in close real time and batch fashion (Spark, HBase, Cascading),
* Experience of working in Fraud Prevention, Cards and Payments domains and knowledge of standards ISO 8583, ISO 20022 is a plus.
