We are integrating sustainability in the whole lifecycle of our vehicles with the aim of carbon neutrality by 2040. Environmental regulations and expectations are expanding worldwide, and data management is becoming more important. There are many challenges to face in the near future and we, therefore, need to strengthen our team.

We are an engaged and committed team working with agile principles within Environmental Attribute & Material Management at Sustainability Centre. Do you have experience in European and global legislation and are ready to be responsible for substances and materials restrictions in the vehicles? In that case, this is the chance for you! Your Contribution
As a Senior Legal Requirements Engineer for Environmental Regulations, you will work with legal requirements analysis and implementation. Your main focus will be on End of Life Vehicles (ELV) requirements.

You will be the one keeping track of new requirements and in collaboration with the engineer teams, you will find solutions on how we in an efficient way can adept our development not only to meet the requirements but also to be one step ahead.

You will also be involved in the homologation process to ensure that we follow all legislation required in order to be able to sell cars globally.

Your work will be highly collaborative mainly within sustainability centre and with regulatory affairs, but also with other parts of the organization as well as with external stakeholders as several international automotive collaboration groups and authorities.

Competence is Important
We see that you have a university degree in chemistry or equivalent and extensive experience in substances and materials legislation in products. You have knowledge regarding waste regulations and experience from recycling.

You are familiar with the development process from advanced engineering to aftermarket, preferably within automotive. If you have previous experience from interaction with authorities it will be a benefit.

Personality is Key
You have the courage to make an impact. You are solution-oriented with a holistic view, still able to keep attention to details.

You are analytical and used to draw conclusions from big amount of information. You are an excellent communicator, comfortable handling stakeholders on different levels.
