This position is based in Uppsala, where Thermo Fisher develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. The job:
We’re hiring a Sr Manager, Product Compliance to lead our team in Uppsala.
Product Compliance supports IDD to have products meeting applicable laws, regulations, and standards in the countries in which the company conducts business operations.
There are currently two teams which report into the Sr Manager, Product Compliance: Product Stewardship where a team of Project managers lead the cross functional product compliance projects and activities as well as maintaining the Product Compliance Process. The other team is Product Information where technical writers and coordinators are creating and delivering user manuals, quick guides, training material, directions for use, labels, and box prints.
How will you make an impact?
• Provide leadership to Product Information and Product Stewardship teams
• Drive Product Compliance business development according to Corporate policies and the IDD Strategic Plan
• Product compliance function strategic and annual planning including budgeting
• Build and maintain internal and external networks and cultivate teamwork to ensure impactful deliverables
• Keep productivity and quality of work in line with agreed standards
• Develop and improve processes, quality, environment, and lean work within area of responsibility
• Advance and maintain the Labeling and Product Compliance Process incl. the stewardship of the Product Compliance Board
• Act as Product Compliance and Product Stewardship point of contact for Thermo Fisher Scientific Corporate, other divisions, and commercial organizations
How will you get there?
• A Master’s degree in the engineering or life sciences field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience of 7+ years preferred in quality management, product compliance or related areas
• 5+ years preferred of people leadership experience
• Proven ability to successfully work in international matrix organizations
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with leaders on different management levels
