Sr. Procurement Partner - Value Engineering & M&A Cost-out-synergies

Therefore, we want to expand our team with a new Senior Procurement Partner who will play a significant role for us on our ambitious journey to further elevate Procurement in an even more strategic direction. Our new colleague will be a strategic partner for several large procurement categories within raw materials, to drive Value Engineering, Supplier Innovation & M&A Cost-out-synergies.
Procurement is anchored as a Group function with direct reference to the CEO, working with strategic and operational procurement of both Direct spend, Indirect spend and Goods for Resale.
Your role
As Senior Procurement Partner you will have responsibility of several of the significant, strategic direct spend categories. You will work closely with other colleagues in Procurement and stakeholders across the organization including the R&D, Planning, Product and production sites.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Development of sourcing category and product strategies
Market insights & supplier search and approval
Tendering and negotiations
Contracting and contract management
Ensure competitive raw material pricing and drive cost synergies between Flügger, Eskaro group and Unicell
Supplier relations management for innovation, cost out and increased sustainability footprint
Project management



Your palette
We expect you to have a strong business acumen and negotiation skills to secure sustainable cost optimization. We expect you to be result oriented with a strong drive. Additionally, we expect you to have an interest in raw materials and technical flair, in order to work with R&D and suppliers on material substitution and innovations. Strong collaboration and communication skills are central. Additionally, we expect you to have:
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience with strategic procurement of direct spend, preferably from production companies
Strong project management skills and analytical skills
A Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or the like
