About the position
The Lab Develop Test (LDT) Technical Sales Specialist will concentrate on growing our customer's Health Care Content business: Pharmacogenomics, Cystic Fibrosis, Vaginal Microbiota, Urinary Tract Microbiota & Respiratory Microbiota.

The Technical Sales Specialist will also grow new sales into emerging infectious disease markets across a broad range of customer segments selling into reference Labs, service providers and hospitals.

This role acts as both a technical resource for the customers across the territory as well as across a highly matrixed sales organization. An important aspect will be developing high level relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL’s), so that they can act as positive references.

Responsibilities
• Develop product and application knowledge across our customer's genetic analysis portfolio.
• Create and manage an annual Territory Plan and quarterly business plans to meet or exceed financial goals.
• Build a deep understanding of customer goals, priorities and challenges.
• Provide solutions that are best positioned to address clinical customer needs in the context of IVDR
• Focus attention on the high growth areas / markets and key applications.
• Apply knowledge of gene expression and genotyping workflows, particularly in qPCR, and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE).


Your profile
You are a self-starter and a resilient person, with a strong drive to succeed in a commercial environment.

Education
• Academic Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field, or the equivalent knowledge and experience.

Experience
• Sales experience in Life Sciences (highly preferred) from the full sales process cycle (prospecting, pre-sales, negotiating, closing) or similar Field Application Support experience
• Scientific consulting skills with strong knowledge of qPCR and CE technologies and applications, as well as market knowledge
• Experience of accurately costing projects and explaining workflow advantages
• Knowledge of IVDR EU regulation and how it is applied in the Nordic Region (focus on Sweden/Denmark)
• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: infectious diseases, sexual transmitted diseases, oncology, transplantation
• Proficiency in English and in Swedish and/or Danish
• Able to travel as required across the Nordics, by car, train & airplane
