We are looking for a person who have at least college degree within wood engineering or equivalent education. You have a several years of work experience in major industrial wood companies and you are very skilled in World Class Manufacturing, being well familiar with the WCM tool box, both by implementing, using and train others. As a person you are analytical, driven, result and goal oriented and able to work under time pressure. You are used to work in a systematic and problem solving oriented manner and you are passionate about improvements. In this position, it is important that you have the ability to communicate at all levels within the company and that you feel comfortable interacting with people. You have a coaching approach, an educational ability and can motivate and engage people by being a good role model in your organization. To succeed in this role, you must have a humble attitude and the ability to understand and respond to the needs of your organization through a natural and trustful dialogue.
Tarkett Group is using English as it´s official language, so verbal and writing in English is a requirement but good knowlede in Swedish is also neccesary. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.
Tarkett in Hanaskog is looking for a Sr WCM Engineer with a focus on process development and process optimization in production but also within engineering and quality. You will carry out improvement projects within the expertise of World Class Manufacturing and hardflooring industry. You will support the production in production technical issues/problems, handling deviations and drive the continuous improvement work in order to stabilize and improve processes and KPI´s such as productivity and quality. The work is conducted in close collaboration with production, quality, maintenance, line personnel and other internal and external expertise. Further more you are our go-to person for WCM/FI activities.
The work involves mainly:
o Contribute and actively work to ensure a safe work environment according to Tarkett guideline and plant strategy.
o Ensure a sustainable WCM approach in our process, train and coach team members in the WCM tools. Strong focus on Problem Solving capabilities and continuous improvements and Project Management.
o Report, follow up and analyse production related KPI:s, define mitigation plans and actions plan when needed. (CPM)
o Together with Management Team set up a yearly WCM Masterplan and a savings plan for production and follow up on it.
o Strategically work towards a flexible production and polyvalence amongst production staff.
o Ensure goal fulfilment of team ensuring right level of competencies.
o Prioritization and alignment of Tarkett vision.
o Act as a manager based on Tarkett's leadership profile (Manager @ Tarkett).
o Ensure development of the team and team members following routines of Tarkett. (PDD)
o Work towards good interactions between Production and support functions such as Technical Group, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, etc.
As a Sr WCM Engineer, you have many interfaces internally as well as externally. We offer an autonomous role with delegated responsibility in a technological environment. Reporting directly to our Operations Manager.
