Are you interested to work on divisional level with control and support? Are you a person that is communicative and supportive by nature and gets motivated working whit improvements? Then you are welcome to apply to the role as EHSQ coordinator in our team that belongs to the Europe division. Your location can be Borlänge, Luleå, Stockholm, Raahe or Hämeenlinna.
About the position
This function control and support SSAB Europe´s Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality management in close cooperation with the local resources at sites. We are also in close connection to management teams and with local improvement teams working with SSAB ONE principles as a base.
We are the owner of the Europe Management System and thereby responsible for the process approach as well as the development of the system. We ensure that processes needed are established, implemented and maintained and we have the overall responsibility of the EHSQ specific common processes and routines.
We do also coordinate reporting to top management on the performance of the EHSQ management and any need for improvement. We are coordinating and also performing audits within our areas as well as we prepare communication and trainings needed.
You will be leading or participating in improvement projects related to EHSQ areas and actively be supporting and developing common processes, routines and guidelines.
Your qualifications
You are good with people, can listen to and understand their needs and give support accordingly, but also act on the mandate we have to steer the operations in certain directions. You are skilled in communicating in speech and writing in Swedish or Finnish and English. You are used and willing to take own initiative and work independently although a major part of the work includes collaboration with sites and functions. Also communicating with external parties will happen and requires confidence and humility to act professional. Knowledge and experience in Quality or Environmental management is a necessity and a big interest in working with continuous improvement is self-evident.
We offer
We offer a broad network with all functions in Europe division and on contacts with our sites and sales offices, but this requires also some travelling, mainly in Sweden and Finland. You will have a great possibility to improve and develop ways of working, within the EHSQ-area and in the division as a whole.
