SSAB - Country Manager for GBS Sweden

Global Business Services (GBS) is a shared services organization in SSAB that delivers finance and master data -services for SSAB Divisions and Group Functions.
Welcome to join GBS and take on the role as Country Manager in Sweden, which means you are leading managers and their teams as well as being responsible for GBS delivery in Sweden. You will be a member of GBS Global management team and contribute to overall GBS development. When doing so you participate to SSAB and GBS on its development journey as well as developing yourself. Preffered location is Oxelösund, Borlänge or Stockholm.
The role as Country Manager for GBS Sweden is an opportunity for you to focus on leadership and delivery of excellent finance services to internal and external customers.
To be part of Global Business Services means to work towards delivering common, harmonized and cost efficient services to Group and SSAB Divisions as well as to other stakeholders (internal and external customers). Together we drive process and system development within finance (role as partner in change and development projects).
This is a role with great variety when working together with all GBS people and processes. You support and challenge our ways of working, communicate and collaborate with different types of stakeholders in an international context.
You report to Head of GBS and have a role in the GBS management team, where active participation and contribution is expected of you.
On a daily basis, your work is to plan, lead and coach managers in their work. Your long-term mission is to strategically create the best prerequisites for the GBS organization to prepare and deliver in projects and other changes.
To be successful in your mission it is important to establish and manage good relationships with internal and external customers.
We are searching for a person with manager experience and leadership skills, who is a courageous and driven to work with the following key tasks;
- Lead and overlook GBS in the country for effective strategic and operational management.
- Communicate and collaborate with all of GBS for a global view on harmonization and efficiency.
- Lead the organization so that it can provide aligned, efficient, responsive and best-practice shared services and enable people to grow.
- Take on additional tasks in GBS MT, e.g. main contact for an interface within SSAB (e.g. function, division, legal entity), this will be according to agreement in GBS management team.
- Competence development and analyze need for future competence.
Travelling is a part of the work.
Your qualifications
To meet our expectations you need to be an experienced leader with knowledge in finance and service delivery. To be successful as a leader you need to be communicative, independent and have a well-developed skill for networking to build trust for you as a leader. You are also most likely result-orientated, have a strong self-awareness and a mindset for customer service.
We also expect you to have Master´s or Bachelor`s degree in for the position relevant area. Advanced skills in Swedish and English is required.
