SSE IT is a support function within SSAB Europe division, with personnel in both Sweden and Finland. SCM & Logistics Domain is part of SSE IT organization and is responsible for developing planning and logistics applications. The domain architect sets the future state for the SCM & Logistics IT landscape and helps the company move towards it. Location Hämeenlinna, Raahe or Borlänge.
Key Tasks
Responsible for architecture in own domain area. Key role in creating architecture principles, target state, roadmaps, and high-level solution designs within own domain in alignment with division strategy and key initiatives, working together with the rest of the architecture group and business organization
Participation into SSAB Europe enterprise architecture teamwork, assisting other architects in delivering business outcomes both within and beyond SCM and Logistic area
Acting as a leader and an expert in solutions / business process development initiatives and projects. Deliver value to business as an internal consultant and transformation agent
Follow trends in the SCM and logistics area, e.g., capabilities of modern transportation management systems or supply chain planning tools
Analyse business capabilities, process challenges and needs. Assist in new initiative preparations by providing information and insight on solution options and impacts to assist in management decision making.
Responsible or has a major role in planning, analysing, and selecting of new tools and applications in the logistic domain area, and supporting their development.
Builds up and maintains networks with business and IT personnel within and beyond SSAB

Requirements
Education
University degree in computer sciences, operations research, or similar area
Experience
Over 5 years’ experience of business process or IT development
Experience in enterprise and solution architecture development
Ability to work according to SSAB values
Good knowledge in business and customer requirements.
Analytical approach to work
Understanding of modern and existing IT technologies
Good communication skills both verbal and written. Fluent in English; Finnish and Swedish languages are seen as an advantage
Experience working with logistic solutions such as transportation management systems is beneficial
Experience in steel or similar manufacturing industries is beneficial

Customer & goal oriented, systematic, and self-driven with a can-do attitude
Innovative, active, and eager to learn new things
Team player with project management skills
