SSAB - Group Business Controller

We are looking for a Group Business Controller with focus on business analytics to play an important role in our ongoing journey towards fossile-free steel , an exciting position working with development of Group Finance internal reporting process including tools and ways of working. Location Stockholm.
In the position as Group Business Controller you will report to the Head of Group Business Control and be a part of the Group Business Control team.
As Group Business Controller you will play a key role in shaping the direction of the internal reporting and assist in supporting and developing our process road maps, thereby adding value to the transformation journey. You will also support in creating the internal report and setting up business performance indicators. This includes preparing finance related material for the CFO.
You will analyze operational performance, and making it transparent what drives current financial performance of the Group and verify/validate (financial) information retrieved from reporting systems.
The position also includes:
Responsible for developing Group business analytics tools and processes
Support and deliver data for Group Finance external reporting.
Coordinate and instruct as team member Group Finance budgeting and forecasting processes to the divisions and group functions and support financial strategic planning.
Participate in reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes for Group functions.
Communication and co-operation with business stakeholders in business controlling matters.
Participation in Group level initiatives and projects as separately decided.

Your qualifications
Minimum 5-7 years of experience from Business Controlling or Business Analytics
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
Strong analytical mindset and good understanding of performance measurements.
SSAB is using SAP, MS Office, Aaro and MS Power BI, therefore it is a plus if you have experience in these systems.
You are a team player with networking skills and a driving force within your own area, able to identify and initiate projects and tasks to improve your area of responsibility.
Excellent communication skills when presenting complex analysis to SSAB Group Business Control stakeholders.
Fluent in English (and Swedish or Finnish), written and spoken.
