We are now looking for a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner for our Group Functions to join our dynamic team!
About the job
As HR Business Partner for SSAB Group Functions, you will have a key role in the company as the strategic HR partner to our Group Functions and drive the whole spectrum of HR processes and practices in our Group Functions that are represented in several countries. You will be part of our Group HR-team, and report to Head of Industrial Relations & HRBP Group Functions.
You will have freedom under responsibility with great opportunity to influence your work and the issues within your area of expertise.
Your main accountabilities will be:
• Contribution to the strategy work of the Group Functions as a member of the management teams, bringing people perspective to the strategy and the plans for the function.
• Alignment of the functional strategy and the HR strategy and managing changes.
• Providing strategic competence and capability analysis to the function within areas as strategic resourcing and staffing plans, analysis of enablers and barriers for change.
• Driving and applying global HR processes and common initiatives in the Group Function.
• Negotiations with the Unions on several levels and across borders.
• Agreements and contracts related to personnel.
• Recruitments within the function ensuring he right competence for the right job and the right capability for the team.
• Coaching and sparring business executives in different people related situations.
The role is based at the SSAB office in Stockholm or Helsinki.

You have good communication skills and can build trust and support the organization in a professional and confidential way. Naturally, you have high integrity, and you pay attention to details. Furthermore, we believe you bring strong organization-, collaboration-, documentation-, and presentation skills.
Qualifications
• Several years of work experience from working with strategic HR, for as strategic HR Business Partner, for example as a HR Business Partner and preferably in a global company.
• Good coaching skills with a business mindset.
• Knowledge about and experience from working with employment legislation, recruitment and retention, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and organizational development.
• Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or other related areas or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish or Finnish and English.
