We are looking for a Service Manager for infrastructure services within the Network Security technology area.
You will be an important part of our Group IT Operation Core Services team. Our customers are SSAB business divisions, subsidiaries and personnel all over the world. You will communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues in the organization and coordinate work within IT Operations technology areas.
As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing and develop services that delivers fit for purpose, value adding and great quality services that met future needs for our stakeholders:
• Manage and develop Network Services and framework with focus on Security, main service Firewall. Identify business needs and requirements that enable business to operate efficiently.
• Coordinate work of internal and external technical resources and service providers
• Help to improve operational excellence of the services for example by training IT support personnel or automate service processes
• Architectural work including technology selection and standards, compliance checking.
• Assuring that the service(s) will meet corporate standards (security, procurement, sourcing model, etc.)
• Act as third line support for technical issues or coordinate the support with service provider.
Your qualifications (Who are you?)
To be successful in this role you need to be good at building relationships and have a well-developed strategic mindset with an ability to transform concepts in to concrete actions.
The person we are seeking to hold the role understands that IT service management is characterized by adopting a process approach towards management, focusing on customer needs and IT services for customers rather than IT systems, and stressing continual improvements.
You might already have Service Management experience or have a background as IT Technician/Architect in the technology area Network with some experience from project management, ready to take the next step within IT.
You probably have a university degree within IT Infrastructure or equivalent job experience we assesses as equal. You have at least 3-5 years IT experience within IT networking business. Your native language is Swedish or Finnish and your English skills needs to be advanced in both writing and speaking for this role.
Experience/understanding of these technology areas is considered needed:
• Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco)
o IPS,IDS,URL filtering, AV etc.
• VPN
• Dot1x
• Proxies
• Switches and Routers (Cisco)
• Monitoring / Netflow
• Cloud networking management
