In our organization Specialty Products we are offering a challenging position as Key Account Manager (KAM) to develop the growth of Engineering & Tooling sales. You will work within a highly motivated, international sales team. Placement optional in Oxelösund, Sweden or Raahe, Finland.
Toolox in plate, block and round bars has proven to offer unique advantages in applications such as machined parts, transmission components, tool holders, molds, plastic injection and roll forming machines, among others. As KAM your mission will be to identify new leads and develop them into regular customers. This role requires strong technical and commercial skills, as well as high energy level to develop the market in an autonomous way.
In the position you will:
- develop mainly the Engineering segment and applications
- identify end users and machining companies within the defined sub-segments
- address the benefits of Toolox to the key stakeholders within the prospects
- arrange technical seminars and tests in order to show the benefits (cost and performance) of Toolox in their applications
- develop and optimize a distribution network in the region to improve availability
- make quotations and contract agreements.
Reporting
- Prepare a business plan for the assigned segment and geographical area.
- Together with the Sales Director, set targets for volume, turnover, GM and number of customers.
- Use SalesForce as reporting tool to monitor commercial activity (e.g. number of leads, visits).
- Weekly follow up of the progress, measured with KPIs.
- Participate in the Toolox team meetings to share technical and commercial arguments.
- Help to build the marketing material and the application catalogue to be used in campaigns, fairs trainings etc.
- Identify needs and best practices (technical, marketing, commercial) in order to grow the business.
You will report to the Sales Director of Engineering & Tooling.
Your qualifications
We need somebody that has:
- strong technical skills to be able to analyze and understand customer applications
- commercial skills
- experience of minimum 3 years in the field of sales of steels for engineering
- a analytic and structured approach
- a proactive approach to customer visits and project management
- languages skills: local language and English, additional languages merited
- possibility to travel up to approx. 100 days per year.
