SSAB - Process developer - Demand Planner

Master Planning in division Special Steels expands the organization with a new colleague in order to increase focus on activities that support our division to become an even more efficient and cost effective operation. We are looking for you that can develop Special Steels Demand Planning process.This is a temporary position for one year and location is Oxelösund.
About the position
Your work will be driven as a project and you are going to report your results to Supply Chain management team.
To push the work forward you need to be comfortable with taking initiatives in order to implement your ideas.
Your individual assignment includes to establish a new way of working where high forecast accuracy on necessary level is in focus in order to enable high planning process quality.
As a part of Master Planning you’ll work in close cooperation with your colleagues and a tight network with sales will be essential.
In order to create realistic forecasts on monthly basis you will support sales
· in region- and area level demand planning, decision making, follow-up and reporting
· in highlighting possible problems and issues
· in forecasting process execution and timeline control
· by giving recommendation based on statistical data
· by giving forecast accuracy feedback
· by fine-tuning of forecasts with inputs/outputs from Management, SOP Meetings and sales.
Your qualifications
Preferably educational background is in economics, technical or logistics. Bachelor or Master degree required with experience in Supply chain management, sales, finance or equivalent.
To be successful in the role you need to have the ability to communicate effectively and precisely at all levels and work both independently and in collaboration with teams.
You have good numeracy skills, proficient in Excel and are fluent in written and spoken English.
