SSAB Special Steels is looking for a motivated, performance-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our sales team in Central Africa. About the position
Sales activities including customer visits, products promotion, price offering and other customer communications to cover the geographic area. Explore new market, increase strategic product sales, build brand marketing program. Manage DSO, stock, overdue, customer contracts, credit terms and payments. Provide customer development plans with end users, OEMs and enter sales activities in CRM (customer relationship management). Expand segment growth with new projects and upgrading applications with Technical Development Manager. The position needs extensive traveling in 9 countries to meet customer and for prospection.


Main responsibilities
Responsible to cover and generate sales results for SSAB Special Steel’s products in Central Africa.
Provide superior customer experience to existing customers, qualifying new leads, follow up on prospects and developing new customers in accordance with the company’s vision.
Working closely with technical & marketing to deliver sustainable solutions to the market.
Secure yearly sales targets with existing and potential customers in the country.
Develop the special steel business with entering new and old segments. Continuously look for new fabrication service centers.



About You
University degree or equivalent in Engineering, business administration or economics.
Solid selling skills, min 3-4 years’ experience in the industry. Deep knowledge and understanding of steel materials.
Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills in both English and French (conversational).
You have a proactive approach to new business opportunities and continued improvements, and you truly enjoy creating partnerships with internal & external customers.
