About the position
As a Risk Management Controller, you will play a crucial role in implementing and ensuring that group instructions are followed to minimize and mitigate all financial risks within Special Steels division. One part of the role also focuses on ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and you play a critical role in managing financial, political, strategic, and operative risks within the company.
You will be responsible to follow up for example; currency exposure, inflation risks, compliance risks, insurance risks. You need to have ability to visualize, analyze and quantify all kinds of risks in a good way and present to key stake holders.
Main responsibilities
•Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and you play a critical role in managing risk, reducing costs, and improving efficiency.
Preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly risk management and analyzing the results together with management team and finance management.
You are a key expert for all treasury related matters within the division and a key contact point for management and SSAB Group Treasury.
You are responsible for coordinating of internal financing and has a process ownership for this area within the division and your aim is to work proactively minimizing and mitigating all financial risks within in accordance to Group Guidelines for Special Steels division.
About You
•Bachelor’s Degree or similar in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
10+ years of working experience within treasury area or as finance or business controlling in an international a business environment preferable.
Expert in financial risk areas of risk management with focus on treasury related areas.
Genuine drive for improvements. Ability to solve problems and achieve results both independently and as a part of the team.
Fluent English skills.
