SSAB - Senior Treasury Specialist, Front Office

We are looking to the SSAB’s Treasury team a Senior Specialist for Front Office and Money Market operations. In this role you would manage the Foreign Exchange and interest Rate risk in accordance with established policies and procedures for minimize financial risks and manage the Group’s liquidity in an optimal way.
Who you are
In this role you would
•Manage and monitor Group´s daily liquidity including cash flow forecasting, managing cash pools, optimize the use of available funds, and short-term funding to ensure adequate liquidity
•Manage Group’s Foreign exchange exposures and identify and analyse financial risks, such as interest rate risk, currency risk, and counterparty risk
•Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and improve Treasury processes
•Participate in Group´s commodity risk management
•Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support decision-making and strategic planning
•Actively follow the financial markets
•Advise and assist Group companies, management and functions in FX risk related questions
•Participate in various Treasury projects
•Work in close cooperation with banks, SSAB Group companies, Global Business Services and other internal stakeholders
For you to be successful in this role, we expect you to
•University degree in finance, economics or equivalent
•More than 5 years of professional experience in treasury, financial risk management or similar
•A data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills
•A proactive working style and drive for problem-solving
•General interest and good understanding of finance and financial markets
•Desire to learn and develop a career in Corporate Treasury
•Good communication skills in English and Swedish, other language skills will be an advantage
