The job
We are looking for a Server Specialist to our Group IT Operations organization.
As a Server Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining SSAB’s cloud and server infrastructure including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed. You will work in close co-operation with other teams and manage or assist with various projects or activities.
You will create and update documentation for the server, storage & backup environments. This position involves working closely with other team members based in Sweden, Finland and America to ensure that the server infrastructure is operating efficiently and effectively. The Server Specialist will be expected to have a technical expertise in server hardware, operating systems and virtualization technologies.
Who you are
You have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
IT experience within server area with Microsoft technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in some of these technology areas are considered valuable:
Active Directory
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft System Center
VMware
Hyperconverged infrastructure
PowerShell and Automation
Citrix or Microsoft Terminal Services
