Silversea cruises, world leader in luxury cruising operating four vessels on world wide itineraries is currently recruiting for the following positions:
Housekeeper

Performance/Responsibilities
This position contributes to the Company's Mission and values and strategic priorities by implementing the principles of Aggressive Hospitality in the following areas:
.Cleanliness, maintenance, supplies, and ambiance of guest and public areas.
.Training, coaching, and retaining qualified staff.
.Leading staff to superior levels of performance.
.Safe professional and personal practices
.Departmental business and administrative functions.
In carrying out these responsibilities, the Housekeeper undertakes duties in the four areas of the professional performance score card:

.Crew Excellence
.Silver C's Leadership
.Operations/Administration

The corresponding duties in each of these performance areas are detailed below. Theses duties are undertaken within company policies, standards, and operating manuals, regulatory mandates.

Guest Experience
1. Organize, assign, and inspect housekeeping functions, work, and performance in guest suites, public, areas, support facilities, laundry, launderette, spa, and florist.
2. Track and complete guest complaints and special requests.
3. Ensure efficient completion of maintenance work and record pending items.
4. Social duties
6. Regularly monitors customer satisfaction and takes personal responsibility to ensure it
7. Proactively demonstrates sincerity and hospitality in all guest interactions
8. Follows through on customer inquiries, requests and complaints
9. Corrects problems promptly.


Crew Excellence
10. Induct, train, coach, and lead crew to consistently superior levels of performance.
11. Determine and communicate standards of performance to employees
12. Fully implements the Performance Interview system and complies with the certification process
13. Complies fully with company procedures for talent management including the policies for promotion and transfer
14. Strives to create and maintain a positive work environment
15. Models excellent leadership behavior
16. Fosters teamwork and partnering within all departments on board

Operations/Administration

Financial

20. Control linen and uniform inventory.
21. Prepare departmental budgets
22. Manage departmental revenues and expenses within quality standards, including:
* Staff overtime
* Supplies cost
* Equipment cost and repair

Processes and Procedures

23. Prepare Cruise Report.
24. Maintain record of inspections of guest suites and public areas.
25. Oversee staff scheduling and assignments
26. Employ preventive maintenance.
27. Undertake daily meetings with Hotel Director.
28. Use vacation schedule as productive manpower tool
29. Undertake all other duties as requested by supervisor

Cleaning and Maintenance

30. Maintain up to date USPH records.
