What you’ll do
Design and develop electrical automation for customer requirements (industrial automation and control). Work in a dedicated project team to deliver the best possible solution for our customers.
Lead the technical project roadmap including documentation for the team, setting best practices including integration and application development, mentoring, and helping team members.
Drive/enforce process standardization and improve system architecture to enable growth and ultimately improve outcome for our customers and our company.
Through effective global and horizontal teamwork develop and drive continuous improvements of engineering processes and associated system capabilities to maximize productivity, whilst ensuring compliance and alignment with overall business priorities.
Develop and maintain strategy and roadmap for the strategic ECAD platform (EPLAN) including interfaces to other critical platforms in the eco system.
Who you are
MSc/Bsc degree in Engineering/Technology or related field.
+10 years industrial experience, with broad network and understanding of various roles and processes within Product Development/R&D/Engineering.
Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and work with cross-functional, multi-cultural teams and deliver results in an ambiguous- and dynamic environment.
Strong influencing- and change agent skills, with very good presentation-, communication- and facilitation skills.
Expertise/experience from Enterprise ECAD Technology/Solutions (e.g. EPLAN).
Proficient in systems engineering and well-founded understanding of electrical engineering, and regulatory disciplines, establishing requirements specifications, power calculations, selection of components and drawing of circuit diagrams and layouts.
Practical experience of technical standards such as IEC 81346, EMC Directive, ATEX/Exi, UL 508A, EN 60204-1, EN/UL/CSA 61010-1 and NFPA 79.
Customer-oriented mindset, autonomous at work, good organizational skills, creative, and comfortable with change.
