Corporate Standards is hosted in Product group GPHE (Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers) but operates through all product groups in Alfa Laval. Our mission is to provide technical Corporate Standards within Alfa Laval.

About the job

As Corporate Standards Officer you will have governance and coordination ownership of the technical content of the corporate standards within the Alfa Laval Group. You will work with Alfa Laval experts to compile technical Corporate Standards covering:
* Material standards based on international standards
* Technical delivery requirements towards suppliers
* Corporate technical instructions

You will also support the organization with technical competence and interpretations of standards.

In this role you will have contact with sourcing, factories, suppliers, R&D, product management and sales within all Product groups within Alfa Laval and some contact with external Standardization bodies.

The position reports to the PG GPHE Quality manager and is based in Lund. Some travelling (10-20 days/year) is required.

Who you are

You are team player who like to build relations cross functions. You are structured and self-motivated and take full responsibility for driving your activities to a good result. You have excellent skills in technical writing and is clear and communicative when training others.

What you know

We believe you have a M Sc degree and have minimum 3-5 years of working experience within standardization related areas.

You have experience from working with international standards and a good understanding of how to interpret them. You also have knowledge in metallic and/or polymer materials and have some experience with chemicals. Experience from working in PDM systems is an advantage.

Fluent business/technical English, verbally and written, is required.
