SSP now opens the very first Starbucks Store in Sweden The Starbucks Store will be located at Arlanda Airport. Starbucks is the largest coffeehouse company in the world. Starbucks purchases and roasts high-quality whole bean coffees and sells them along with fresh, rich-brewed, Italian style espresso beverages, a variety of pastries and confections, and coffee-related accessories and equipment. Job Description This job contributes to SSP:s success by assisting the store manager in executing store operations. This job assists and supervises a team of store partners to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers and partners. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. You'll be involved with your store's operations, staffing, customer satisfaction, product quality, financial performance and team development. The Starbucks Stores opening and closing hours will vary between 03.00-23.00 seven days a week so you must be available to work between these hours. The incumbent of the post as Assistant Store Manager has to be able to start the duty by being abroad for 7 weeks of training in December/January in an existing Starbucks Store. Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: *Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations. *Maintains and models a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events; continues to keep store operating to standard and sets a positive example for the shift team. *Models a customer comes first attitude and supervises partners to ensure they are delivering legendary customer service. *Supports store manager in implementing company programs by working directly with the team to execute action plans that meet operational and organization objectives. *Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to store partners to ensure smooth flow of operations. *Provides coaching and direction to the store team to take action and to achieve operational goals. *Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. *Solicits customer feedback to understand customer needs. *Uses all operational tools to achieve operational excellence in the store. Job Requirements Summary of Experience *Progressively responsible coffee shop experience (two years). *Customer service experience in a cafe or restaurant environment (one year). *Documented experience in directing the work of others. *Fluent in Swedish with very good English skills. *Ability to act with a customer comes first attitude and deliver customer service that meets or exceeds customer expectations. *Ability to create and coach effective teams, team-building skills. *Effective oral communication skills. *Knowledge of the coffee shop environment. *Strong problem-solving skills. *Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
