Statistical Expert

The role of the Statistical Expert within the Development & Engineering/Packaging Material organization is to supporting the factories, someone who can balance the theory and to go outside to our factoriess and practice in a easy way.

We are now looking for an Engineer with a deep knowledge in Mathematics and Applied Statistics in Quality, and the way it is measured.The position is based in Lund, Sweden.

Main responsibilities
-Drive implementation / train factories & Engineering people around the world in Tetra Pak
-Define Statistically valid sampling plans for Quality verification in converting factories
-Drive Quality improvement plans within the factories aiming to implement Statistical Process Control
-Create and Maintain electronic databases and application in different software, to share and follow up results with the different stakeholders

Kvalifikationer

To be successful in this role you have deep knowledge of statistical analysis and mathematical methods and tools combined with practical hands-on engineering experience.Preferably you have work experience from Qualtiy Assurance or Quality Maintenance in a Production facility (5 yrs), such as Automotive or Electronic Components industry.Your educational background includes a M.Sc.university degree in Engineering, Statistical mathematics, Six Sigma Black Belt with applied experience or equivalent.You are proficient in computer applications such as Office, QlikView, and statistical software.You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

As a person you are analytical and possess great listening, documenting and communication skills at all organizational levels.You are also a strong team player who can also coach when necessary, and has a strong continuous improvement attitude.International travelling is not an issue for you, and should be an opportunity and a challenge to interact with different cultures, and you are capable to influence them towards the Quality Strategy fulfillment.You are a self-driven person, with the ability to operate with uncertainty and complexity.
