Statistical Forecast Manager

Duni is looking for a Statistical Forecast Manager who will be providing quality maintenance, development and analysis of statistical forecast for the broad assortment of Dunis.

Areas of responsibility
A key component of this position will be to support geographically dispersed Demand Managers with input data based on the used statistics. The scope of the role comprises not only of monitoring and managing current statistical forecast but also pro-active work towards improvement of Sales Forecast Accuracy.

As statistical forecast will be an important component for a number of related processes involving other functions it is important that the Statistical Forecast Manager is not only able to properly apply statistical models but also able to explain the logic behind it to other participants in the process.

The Statistical Forecast Manager will also be responsible for the operational controlling of the related processes, including KPI calculation and follow-up, accompanied with reporting both within the Demand Management department but also externally, towards the other participants of the S&OP loop.

This position will be located in Malmö, report to the Duni Demand Manager and include 10-20 travel days per year.

Your Profile

- MSc, MBA or similar in Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of working experience with statistical forecast management, preferably within FMCG
- Good understanding of SAP (SAP APO-DP is a merit)
- Strong knowledge of office applications
- Excellent statistical and analytical skills
- Fluent English, additional languages is a plus
- Good communication skills and business understanding
- Ability to work in an international environment
