Silversea cruises , world leader in luxury cruising operating four vessels on world wide itineraries is currently recruiting for the following position:
Stewardess

This position contributions to the Company's Mission, values, and strategic priorities by implementing the service principles of Aggressive Hospitality in the following areas:
. in-suite services to guests
. special daily duties and food and beverage suite service as assigned
. training assistance for new crew members
. safe professional and personal practices
. Congeniality and teamwork.
In carrying out these responsibilities, the stewardess undertakes duties in the four areas of the professional performance score card:
. Technical
. Safety
. Silver Service
. Social
The duties in each of these performance areas are detailed below. These duties are undertaken within company policies, standards, and operating manuals.
1. Clean guest suites/bathrooms/balconies, and restock with foods, supplies, amenities, and linens.
2. Maintain area cleanliness in hallways, bulkheads, overheads, vents, ledges, and back of house
areas.
3. Follow up on special daily duty assignments.
4. Adhere to departmental standards, specifications, and work routines.
5. Provide pantry watch on a rotational basis.
6. Maintain pantry cleanliness and organization including compliance with USPH standards.
7. Assist guests with packing/unpacking if required.
8. Guide and coach assistant to ensure that he/she succeeds.
9. Assist with shoe polish service as needed.
10. With Assistant Stewardess, complete the entire cleaning and restocking of a suite before proceeding to the next. Work as a team with all duties equally shared.
11. Provide embarkation services.
12. Provide food & beverage room service on a rotational basis.
13. Protect ships equipment and facilities through utmost care. Report faulty/broken equipment.
14. Monitor repair progress with supervisor until remedied.
15. Follow the prescribed garbage separation procedures.
16. Assist managers with induction and training on new personnel.
17. Undertake all other duties as requested by supervisor.
18. Carry out designated role in crew and passenger safety drills according to regulations.
19. Comply with Company safety and pollution prevention regulations and procedures.
20. Complete the Silver Service CD-room program.

Utbildning/Erfarenhet
Previous experience as au-pair or taking care of elderly people is preffered.
