Mechatronics engineer at Stonridge 

Mechatronics engineer (Mech, EE & SW) with an interest in display and optical technology.

Your role

You will work with cross-functional technical questions regarding displays for automotive, sometimes together with several development teams in parallel. As a member of the Stoneridge display core team you will also be an important link between display manufacturers in Asia, Stoneridge development teams and also the end customer. The role is an important contribution to Stoneridge competitive edge in high-end and high quality automotive display products. Your tasks will be variated with hands on engineering, verification, measuring, problem solving, and structured planning of activities.

In your daily work you will support development projects and take responsibility for the development of the display in the product and make sure it lives up to the electrical, mechanical, optical and quality requirements.


Responsible for all aspect of the display sub system including:

-    Requirement analysis
-    Display specification and component selection
-    Supplier management
-    Definition of display interface and driver requirement
-    Electrical and optical measurement
-    Design verification
-    Manufacturing support

 

Competences we are looking for


• In-depth knowledge of the following areas as they relate to TFT-LCD’s:
• Display technologies and their fundamentals principles of operation
• Display performance factors and limitations
• Display manufacturing processes and controls
• Display and system design (including display driving requirements)
• Display testing and measurement
• Degree in electronics or other relevant engineer / science discipline

 

Advantage if you have


• Knowledge about requirements for automotive segment
• Electronics engineering
• Development of display systems for high volume manufacturing
