Job description
We are now looking for Senior Accountant to our Country Accounting Service (CAS) Nordics. CAS is part of Paper Financial Service, Record to Report function within Stora Enso. The location for this position is Nymölla, Sweden.

The main task for Country Accounting Services (CAS) Team is being responsible for the statutory accounting and IFRS financial reporting for Stora Enso Group companies and to make sure that all IFRS and statutory accounting requirements are fulfilled.

CAS Team is the main contact for the local auditors and other authorities and manages tax-related issues together with Paper Tax Services. CAS Team works in close co-operation with other Paper Financial Service functions, Finance Delivery, Group Accounting and Reporting, Group/Paper Tax Services and Business Units. Head of CAS Nordics is leading the operations in Country Accounting Services Team.

As Senior Accountant, your areas of responsibility are:
•Steering and monitoring of accounting processes regarding correctness and completeness
•Group reporting according IFRS and statutory reporting according local GAAP for the companies managed by Country Accounting Service
•Contact for local auditors, tax authorities and other authorities as well as for the internal stakeholders
•Balance reconciliation regarding general- and sub ledgers
•Preparation of Tax reporting, monthly VAT returns and yearly VAT refunds for foreign countries
•Preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation
•Participating in PFS accounting projects
•Developing of accounting processes together with other PFS teams
•Assuring that all tasks under CAS responsibility scope are fulfilled

In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of CAS Nordics.

We are looking for these qualities when selecting for this position:
•MSc Degree in Economics or equivalent degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
•Good knowledge of statutory accounting, VAT, Tax rules and IFRS
•Good understanding of the accounting processes and good analytical skills
•Ability to handle tasks independently and to work under high time pressure and flexibility in working hours
•Target oriented and driving developments
•Good communication skills in country language and English, both verbally and in writing.
•Excellent knowledge of IT systems; SAP-FI, AA, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM); MS Office
