Sourcing is looking for a clear, visible and courageous person to lead sourcing and supplier management activities for the company investment portfolio.

The goal is to achieve significant initial cost reductions, followed by measurable year-over-year productivity improvements in the total cost of goods and services sourced while maintaining or improving product quality and vendor service levels as well as develop the function towards best practice.
•You will work closely with key stakeholders in divisions and in corporate functions (e.g., division investment teams and IWG) to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans.
•You report to the Investment Sourcing Director, Consumer Boards, with a responsibility for sourcing spend in the range of 4-800 MEUR (depending on actual Stora Enso investment strategy) in selected projects.

The primary responsibility of this position is to champion and secure total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions for the investment portfolio and hard-wire investment sourcing strategy across Stora Enso (i.e., govern divisional investment sourcing) . The Investment Sourcing manager also has a set of specific responsibilities:
•Will oversee the supplier selection and negotiation process for investment sourcing in selected projects.
•Drive and enable productivity improvements related to investments.
•Develop an expertise within a selection of investment categories (e.g. types of equipment).
•Drive best practices and ensure Investment Sourcing is an integral part of Stora Enso’s Investment process.
•Provide commercial guidance by setting up and establish commercial rules and minimum requirements in investment projects.

Qualifications
•Successful, 5+ year track record in a best practice sourcing and/or project organisation
•Relevant engineering master’s degree; other graduate degree potentially acceptable.
•Experience from heavy CAPEX projects (greenfield and brownfield) and large project organization structures.
•Previous experience from highly sophisticated and advanced technical equipment/process industry.
•World class supplier relations skills, strong negotiating skills and thorough understanding of sales/marketing practices.
•Good knowledge of investment contract concepts including contract law and financial impact of commercial decisions.
•Ability to develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans.
•Solid analytical skills. Able to define and understand the most critical issues.
•Excellent communication skills and excellent in written and spoken English. Preferably fluent in an additional language; Swedish, Finnish or German.
•Process and applications skills: SAP MM or similar, MS Office

The position requires travelling.
