Stora Enso is looking for a temporary Senior Accountant, Country Accounting Services
The ordinary holder of the position will be on parental leave and Stora Enso is now looking for a substitute for the position Senior Accountant. The assignment is for 1 year starting from September 2017.
Stora Enso Finance Delivery global organization is dedicated to managing and steering reliable inhouse and outsourced financial services for Stora Enso Group entities. It's geographically diverse inhouse team of 150 people has been set up in three process towers, aligned with the end-to-end financial processes Purchase-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and a team of Inhouse Operations.
Country based Country Accounting Service (CAS) teams belong under Record-to-Report process tower and are providing active support for the local business in the respective country or region. CAS is providing the local Stora Enso units the statutory and tax accounting services and is acting as the main contact for local business units in any accounting related issues. It is also CAS responsibility to provide data for group reporting purposes and to ensure compliance with IFRS requirements. Currently there are 12 local CAS centers in Finance Delivery's scope. CAS Sweden is serving 16 group companies in Sweden and Denmark. CAS Sweden consists of 3 inhouse employees and an outsourced team of 7 employees at Cap Gemini in Poland.
Key responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, CAS Sweden, you are part of the inhouse CAS team in Sweden. You participate in steering, controlling and improving the outsourced part of the accounting tasks, with an aim to maintain compliance with high quality service standards and reporting requirements. You are also responsible for preparation of Annual reports, tax declarations and quarterly/yearly tax calculations and reporting for the Swedish entities, Reviwing av reporting VAT on monthly basis.
The CAS team is continously working towards improving end-to-end accounting and reporting processes, in cooperation with other Finance Delivery teams. CAS Sweden is also providing local support in finance related topics to Stora Enso´s highest country management in Sweden.
You are acting as contact for local auditors, tax authorities and other authorities, as well as for the internal stakeholders, e.g. Group Tax Services, Business Units, Group Accounting and Reporting. The position reports to Manager CAS.
Competencies
* University degree in Accounting or other relevant field of expertise
* Excellent knowledge of local GAAP requirements
* Excellent knowledge of IFRS requirements
* Excellent knowledge of end-to-end accounting concepts and processes
* Advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems
* Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
* Focus on value creation and process improvement
* Ability to work in a partly outsourced team
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent knowledge in Swedish and English
* Excellent knowledge of SAP, HFM, MS Excel and related technical skills
* Excellent knowledge in consolidation and preparation of IFRS financial statements
* Excellent knowledge in pension reporting in accordance to IAS19 and Local SWE GAAP
* Excellent knowledge VAT both domestic and international
