Storage & Backup System Administrator - IT Operations & Support

Who is your future team?
You will be part of our IT Operations & Support team and we are responsible for operating Axis global infrastructure. You will have plenty of colleagues within our department as we are approx. 30 coworkers and you will belong to one out of two operational teams, IT Operations Routine and Compliance. Together we manage the Life Cycle of the Infrastructure which means that our focus is to provide a highly available and reliable infrastructure which means that we are skilled when it comes to maintenance, incidents and requests. We also have the responsibility to change and adjust the infrastructure based on business requirements and demands. In our department we value Helpfulness, Professionalism and having Fun at work.

What you'll do here as a Storage & Backup System Administrator:
As Storage & Backup System Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting the organisation with Life Cycle Management of our Storage & Backup platform. You will do so by, managing the day-to-day support. We also engage with the stakeholders responsible for the services running on-top of the infrastructure with advice related to disaster recovery & backup policies. You will need to take an active role to continuously improve the infrastructure and how we deliver our solutions to the rest of Axis. We would love to see you that you have the following experience:

* Manage and solve complex incidents
* Ability to develop the infrastructure to improve services
* Be a part and understand technical strategic plans
* Good understanding of Life Cycle management of the operational environment

Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We are looking for you, who have couple of years experiences in an operational role within Storage & Backup technology and you know what great service is. It's an advantage if you have some training in the different technology areas which we defined below. We think you like to work in a constant changing environment and have an interest in technology and its' development. You should have great troubleshooting skills and be able to drive change from start to end. You have good understanding of the importance of Life Cycle Management of Storage and Backup platforms which means you have been working proactively with technical improvements and can coordinate activities, like upgrades, patching and requests. You have excellent communications skill and have the ability for turning technical problem statements into a business perspective. We think you have genuine technical interest and understand dependencies within a technical ecosystem.
You like to take ownership and work together with others to find the best solutions for Axis.

* Have technical knowledge and experiences within the following areas:
* Storage Solutions (NetApp)
* Virtualisation Solutions (VMware)
* Backup & Recovery Solutions (Veeam)

As you will be a vital part of supporting Axis colleagues around the world, you need to be able to communicate in Swedish and English.
