AstraZeneca Oncology has a long tradition in personalized treatment, and we are currently establishing our new commercial Hematology team. With a growing pipeline ahead, we will seek a number of driven Strategic Account Managers in Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Maybe you have experience of working as a Strategic Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Representative or Disease Area Manager. Parisa Rahmani is the experienced manager who will lead this new team. About chronic lymphocytic leukemia

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is one of the most common type of blood cancer in adults. In CLL, too many blood stem cells in the bone marrow become abnormal lymphocytes and these abnormal cells have difficulty fighting infections. The treatment landscape for CLL is rapidly evolving, with multiple agents expecting approval.



The role

As a Strategic Account Manager (SAM) in hematology, you will play an important role in the contribution to develop the Hematology brand/franchise strategy in the Nordics. You support with your understanding key stakeholder needs, perceptions, and insights.

In this field-based customer-facing role you drive sales and localization of marketing materials. You build partnerships with long-term mutual value with e.g. health care professionals, patient organizations, and local/regional budget holders.

Pro-activity is central to this role. It includes identify business opportunities, communicating needs and objectives aligned propositions, and recommending business-driven solutions. Your insights will channel into implementation of the national account plan, agreed upon with a cross-functional team and aligned with the Nordic brand plan.



In order to success, you have:

We are looking for you who holds an academic degree or equivalent, commercial or healthcare background. Experience in Hematology combined with established customer relationships are competitive advantages.

* Extensive proven experience in pharmaceutical sale from a specialist area, minimum 3-4 years.
* Skills in Value Based Selling is desirable
* Strong collaboration with the regional access manager (RAM) to ensure regional patient access - SAMs to identify account-based value for HCPs and patients by linking unmet need with clinical/outcomes data and RAMs to translate the added value to the regional payers to ensure access
* Leadership skills - ability to coordinate and engage cross-functional teams to drive activities for individual accounts
* Commercial innovation e.g. digital innovation- track-record of entrepreneurial approach in customer focused activities to achieve long-term business goals
* Proven project management skills



Your established ability to understand, assimilate, and communicate scientific information and Health Economic Outcome data will be as important for the role as will your good understanding of the ethical code and compliance requirements, culminating in a certification.

You express integrity in customer interactions with focus on needs and satisfaction. We, therefore, want you to have excellent communication and presentation skills, proficient in both written and spoken English as well as the local language.
