We are looking for a driven, innovative, and business oriented Strategic and Operational Purchaser.

As a Strategic and Operational Purchaser, you will develop, lead, and execute on WirelessCar’s purchasing strategies and processes. You will have 3 other colleagues in Gothenburg, and you will also with our purchasers in China and U.S.

You will be working with tracking and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. In your role you will also work with negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms for WirelessCar. Together with the purchasing team you will drive and perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking to manage and mitigate risks.

Every quarter, you will be part of 1-2 supplier reviews on our current partners/suppliers which you do together with a core team from different functions.

Your daily work will consist of both strategical- and operational work. The strategical work will be performed in close collaboration with stakeholders from our Delivery Organization, Finance and Business Strategy.

In a rapidly growing company such as WirelessCar, changes both in strategies, processes, as well as the daily work is both expected and encouraged, and you will be the driving factor for this continuous improvement within the purchasing area.

You will report directly to WirelessCar’s Head of Partnership of Purchasing and be a part of the Finance/Purchasing team.

Your profile
We believe that you have experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar position

We see that you have experience in motivating and leading people and teams

You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally

We value your ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and operationally

You need to have the ability to work independently

The talent of critical thinking and negotiation skills is something that you bring with you into the role

A degree in business administration or a related field is desirable

You need to be comfortable in making decisions and driving change and continuous improvement aligned with the company strategy

- Excellent interpersonal and have great relationship skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized, with a structured mindset
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with sourcing and supplier management
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills
- Fluent English, both oral and in writing
