Strategic Business Developer

Vermiculus is a newly started fast growing company within financial technology. We are a team of industry experts developing high-tech systems for exchanges and clearing houses. We are building modern products based on microservices with AI components. Our organization is flat, agile, and flexible. You will be working in a team of highly experienced professionals who are passionate about cutting-edge technology. The company is headquartered in Stockholm.
We are now looking for a strategic business developer with international experience who will be a key person in our team working with bringing new and innovative technology to the market.
Primary responsibilities of this position include:
Helping the company define markets and identify relevant and impactful trends within specific markets.
Analyzing business practices and goals and making suggestions for improvements or company direction.
Analyzing business’s competitors to help company establish a sustainable strategic position within the market.
Devising strategies for cutting costs, increasing revenue and making key decisions.
Troubleshooting current problems and implementing solutions.

Requirements:
A successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, time management, as well as collaboration and communication skills. The candidate should be able to conduct cutting-edge market research in both practical and academic outlets to identify the latest practices and trends in the industry and customize those according to the needs of the company. In addition, a successful candidate should exhibit strong presentational and communication skills. Possessing high-level graduate degrees in a relevant area is strongly preferred.
