Role, Team, and Location
As Strategic Business Development Manager you will be part of the central team and drive projects within business development and strategy, both on a Group level and at Group companies. In these projects you will work closely with the Group Management Team and the top management within our Group companies. You will collaborate with various markets in need of distinctive commercial support and go-to-market initiatives. Thus, Strategic Business Development Manager will lead both brand specific projects as well as Group-wide business development projects.
The Strategic Business Development Manager is based in Stockholm and reports to the Chief Strategy and Communication Officer.
Responsibilities
The main purpose of the role is to drive projects within business development and strategy, working closely with the Chief Strategy and Communication Officer. Projects are generally reported directly to the Group Management Team.
Responsibilities include
* Assess and develop new go-to-market strategies for new markets and/or new technologies
* Build market insights through analysis of industry trends, competitor performance, and customer trends
* Participate in M&A and due diligence work, evaluate upcoming opportunities and drive specific workstreams
* Drive implementation of strategic initiatives together with local stakeholders
* Support Group strategy process with analyses and development of strategy presentations for various internal and external stakeholders
* Project manager for internal business development projects, e.g., connectivity or digitalization projects
* Project leader experience, ideally in a diverse setting and from leading teams with different backgrounds and capabilities
* Experience in leading commercial excellence initiatives and strategy projects, making conclusions based on market trends and other relevant data. You may have acquired this skillset as management consultant or as business developer/change agent on group level
* International experience and/or cultural awareness is required
* Significant experience in Microsoft PowerPoint
* Master’s degree in engineering and/or finance/economics is preferred
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Swedish not required.

You are an analytical and strategic problem-solver with operational mindset, used to maneuvering change through an engaging and diplomatic approach. Thus, you must be a team player and a great communicator, with ability to communicate articulately and clearly with colleagues at all levels. Furthermore, you have a keen eye for details and know how to synthesize findings to conclude in clear and easy messages.
The ideal candidate is a high-capacity project leader that thrives in fast-paced and dynamic, yet team-oriented contexts. You are non-prestigious with a collaborative mindset and would not hesitate to help with whatever you can.
