Strategic Buyer

ValueOne is looking for a Strategic Buyer for a consultant assignment at a MedTech company in Malmö in the south of Sweden. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.

The role  

As Strategic Buyer you will be working with procurement and implementation of Master data and system updates. You will be managing contract approvals and signing processes and lead or assist in contract/commercial negotiations under supervision from senior team members.

Main tasks:

Ensure supplier has the capacity to support requirements.
Initiate/be involved in New Vendor Process.
Follow up on forecasts and commitments towards the suppliers.
Manage supplier performance and compliance to policies.
Create Business Case Report and other reports.
Under the supervision and guidance of the team create necessary templates and documents.
Facilitate and participate in external (supplier) communications.
Manage internal communications.
Data analysis as requested, i.e., financial analysis.
Manage policy and process.
Follow up on and suppliers’ compliance against policies and processes through audits and/or surveys.
Responsible for continuous update on international standards, regulations and internal policies.

Experience and competencies  

The role requires a university degree or equivalent relevant work experience as well as

experience in strategic procurement and Supplier compliance. We also like you to have experience from working in an international company, or experience in working with diverse cultures. Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Other languages is a bonus. Basic understanding of or interest in the health care industry is desirable as well as strong negotiation and communication skills.

You are a structured self-starter with good commercial understanding of tactical and strategic business. You find it easy to collaborate with others and easily build relationships. Furthermore, you are attentive to details and have the ability to multi-task.
