Strategic Buyer and Operational Buyer

ValueOne is looking for a Strategic Buyer and an Operational Buyer for two longer consultant assignments at an electronics company in Landskrona, Skåne. The assignments must be filled as soon as possible.

The role  

The assignments involves purchasing of materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms, ensuring that the purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

It is possible to work remotely part of the time.

Main tasks:

Identify new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team.
Qualify new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
Negotiate agreements with main suppliers.
Analyze and evaluate bids.
Support bid and proposal teams.
Track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
Oversee supplier performance and resolve performance issues.
Initiate purchase orders.
Align supplier orders with customer requirements.

Experience and competencies  

The person we are looking for should have purchasing experience of at least 3-5 years. You must be fluent in both written and spoken English. Since the assignment involves contact with stakeholders internally and externally good communications and collaboration skills are needed. Furthermore, we value good analytical skills and a structured mindset.
