We are now looking for a Strategic Buyer (Strategisk inköpare). As a Strategic Buyer in Luleå you report to the Europe Sourcing Director who is stationed in France and you will be part of the Global Sourcing Team.
About the position
As a Strategic Buyer you are responsible for negotiations, maintaining good relationships with suppliers, supplier contracts, supplier development, pricing and cost saving project in regard to the suppliers in your scope.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Provide input to and implement procurement strategies ensuring quality, value-cost optimization, service performance and business continuity are maintained with selected suppliers,
Manage supplier partnerships to ensure continual performance expectations are met and year over year productivity targets are achieved by conducting proper supplier management techniques,
Analyze, track and report performance within each spend and define budgetary impact as well as identify saving opportunities,
Identify and analyze areas of risk within supply chain and implement appropriate mitigation measures,
Act as lead negotiator for small to medium local or regional business agreements,
Partner with our customers (Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and End Customers) to develop and execute sourcing/supply chain strategies that delivers value through total cost of ownership.

We work according LEAN- principles and our OMS (Operative Management System). We focus on continuous improvements and have a problem-solving culture. We welcome problems, because when we identify problems; we can improve.
What is your background
Academic or engineering degree preferably Industrial economics.

Several years of experience that includes:
Procurement, preferably as a Strategic Buyer.
Business experience, having multiple customer- and/or supplier contacts.
Negotiations and business transactions.
You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
