Strategic Buyer, Stora Enso Skutskärs Mill

Business area Biomaterials is looking for a purchaser to Skutskär Mill. This position will work with special attention to support Skutskärs organization to increase the commercial procurement skills.
Business Area Biomaterials offers a challenge to a person who has the drive to support the development at Skutskär Mill to the next level as well as contributing to the development of purchasing within Skutskär Mill and the business area.

The purchasing organization is responsible for interaction with the supplier market. We manage the supplier efforts to deliver the right quality, on time and at the lowest total cost on all products and services purchased for Stora Enso.

Key performance
Your primary focus will be on the categories that are sourced locally at Skutskär Mill, but some interaction on a global level is required. The position is a role delivering value through analytical and commercial focus in strategic sourcing and procurement. You will have responsibility for:
Sourcing strategies, targets for categories and the suppliers included.
Providing market analyses, supplier evaluations and supplier selections.
Negotiations and agreements.
Claims handling.
Supplier evaluations.
Supplier management and development of stakeholder management, making sure that business needs are identified and good communication is maintained.
Representing the mill in international procurement projects.
Managing the effective delivery of projects by determining project timelines and objectives, and directing activities, keeping all members and stakeholders informed of progress.

The position includes travelling

Your profile
You have a degree in economics, business, or engineering, or equivalent work experience, including at least five years’ experience as a Strategic Buyer. You have experience leading negotiating teams and have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal. Experience of stakeholder in production and maintenance is advantageous.
