MultiMind is looking for a Strategic Buyer within IT for our international client that works within home electronics. This is a great opportunity for you if you are interested in internal communications and intranet development. It starts with a 6 months consultancy agreement, with good opportunity for extension.

 

Client Our customer is one of the largest manufacturers of home electronics in the world and has its headquarters in Stockholm. They are a global leader and sell more than 50 million products each year to consumers and professional users in over 150 countries.

 

Main responsibilities Your main responsibilies include:

 

• Engage with stakeholders for RFI, RFP, RFQ and evaluation processes.

• Contract negotiations with IT and Telecom suppliers.

• Support and lead commercial activities throughout the supplier lifecycle within IT.

• Act as escalation point for commercial issues pertaining to supplier management.

• Continually review IT and Telecom contracts to identify consolidation opportunities and synergy effects.

• Actively promote best working practices at all levels within the IT and business stakeholders to support continued improvement.

• Actively participate in Group and regional Purchasing activities representing the IT and Telecom category.

 

Your profile • Experience negotiating global purchasing contracts, within the IT business area.

• Working knowledge of all legal aspects of contract management.

• Proven track record in delivering savings through effective purchasing techniques.

• Proven ability to work across national and functional boundaries to achieve the best result.

• Experience at managing sourcing at a TCO level.

• Experience of developing and implementing effective procurement processes.

• Fluent in English, any other language is an asset.

Hands on experience of Software, Outsourcing, Services and Telecom agreements is meritorious, as well as an education to degree level within Procurement, Purchasing, IT or Law.
