Strategic category buyer - Consultant assignment (6 months)

The client
On behalf of our customer we are looking for a Strategic category buyer for an assignment in Stockholm . The setting is global and good communication and networking skills is required.


The role
The customer needs a strategic category buyer for the category accessories & packaging with a drive to take action and ownership with a skill to create relationships, internal and external.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the supplier selection process with a cross functional mindset
Evaluate, negotiate, sign agreements and maintain the sourcing parameters
Supplier Relationship Management process
Drive cost improvement activities
Support change management of supplied parts
Define supplier and category strategy and plans
Requirements
We are looking for a strategic category buyer with 3-5 years’ experience with strong negotiating skills. Your English must be excellent in writing and speach. Familiarity with cross-functional teamwork and category management as well as with SAP and the running of SRM processes. Further requirements is a solid technical interest, a commercial mindset and a positive attitude.
