You now have the possibility to join a team striving to make a difference within our Supply
Chain/Procurement department, continuously trying to develop our way of working.
In this role you will have the opportunity to make an impact and continue our journey towards
Supply Chain Excellence.

In this role, you will be working within our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) business which
is part of Governmental Business unit.
We need to strengthen our Supply Chain/Procurement Team with a Strategic Material Planner,
primarily focused on the RM12 engine, powering the Swedish fighter JAS39 Gripen.

The main responsibility is to identify, evaluate and understand spare parts requirement for the engine and
develop the most accurate materials forecast used for purchasing of spare parts, i.e. correct
quantities, delivery timings and safety stock levels.

In order to be successful in this role you need to be ambitious, analytical and possess the ability to network and collaborate with the wider MRO business (for example, Operations and Engineering). We are always striving to make things better
and develop our ways of working is an essential part of the role.
As a Strategic Material Planner, you will be reporting to the Supply Chain & Procurement Manager
within the Governmental Business Unit.

* Responsible for generating and monitoring spare parts forecasts utilized for material
acquisitions
* Continual analysis of demand trends and optimization of forecasts to best support the
business
* Improve demand planning accuracy by developing/optimizing existing tools used for material
planning
* Manage flow control parameters and be responsible for keeping production system master
data updated
* Analysis and forecasting of Inventory levels
* Engage in and drive continuous improvement for an efficient supply chain

Other responsibilities;
* Actively participate in planning processes within Product line and MRO Value Stream
* Support evaluation of customer RFQs and requests
* Participate in weekly MPS meetings with local site
* Communicate and interact with the program organization
* Support buyers in interactions with suppliers (if needed)

Job Qualifications;
* University degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
* +3 years of knowledge and experience from Supply Chain
* Strong drive to work with continuous improvements
* Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
* Good knowledge within IT, e.g. Microsoft Office and SAP.
* Good analytical skills
* Ability to develop and sustain networks
* Target and result oriented
* Proven Business acumen

This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the
Swedish Protective Security Act.
