Strategic Planner

You will be a part of the central Strategic & Material Planning Team consisting of five people. The purpose of the team is to deliver an excellent Supply Chain in order to support the overall business plan of Ascom.
Responsibilities
Order and delivery planning
Customs
Freight
Demand planning
Stock control
Development of logistics processes with customers, suppliers and 3PL
Planning external warehouses
Supplier development
Participate in projects
Qualifications
BSc in Logistics, Business administration or similar
Broad experience working with customs
Experience with working with Asia market, especially China
Experience in Microsoft Axapta
Good knowledge of MS Office
Excellent communication skills, both in Swedish and English
Meritorious
Knowledge in customs operations
Knowledge in handling freights
Good knowledge in Excel
Experience working as material planner

A driven person with the ability to understand, execute and communicate the processes within Supply Chain. To be successful in this position you need to be socially confident and motivated by working for the customer. You also need to have the skills to build good relations with suppliers and other key stakeholders. As an individual you must be able to handle stressful situations during our peak seasons and have the capability of having many things going on and still be able to find a good structure in the work. You need to have an analytic mind and understanding the importance of supply chain.
We anticipate that the successful candidate will have a few years of experience after graduating from university.
