We are currently recruiting for a Strategic Procurement Category Manager IT. In this role you will report into the Global Director of Indirect Procurement and we strongly prefer if you can be based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional international business travel will also be a part of this role.
What is the purpose of this position:
Global responsibility for the IT Category area within the Global Indirect Procurement organization
Establish and deploy strategic direction for the IT Category to secure best in class procurement in HQ and local entities
Ensure that the organizations’ IT category needs are met effectively and cost-efficiently
Develop an understanding of and contribute to Global IT strategy and align with the Global Indirect Procurement function

Key Accountabilities:
Accountable for developing procurement strategies
Supplier selection and contract negotiation
Accountable for supplier management and supplier relations
Accountable for managing the segmentation of procured goods and services through solid category management work
Accountable to drive cost efficiency initiatives in Procurement IT Category globally
Procurement performance management

Competencies:
Creating Sourcing strategy together with stakeholders
Solid Category management proficiency
Analytical and strategical skills
Commercial and legal agreement knowledge
Excellent Negotiator
In depth understanding of procurement processes
Understanding of the Health Care industry
Excellent English language skills
Excellent in building strong relations, both internal and external

Qualifications & Expertise:
Academic Business degree (Minimum Bachelor)
5yrs relevant international purchasing experience
Experience from sourcing complex IT services
