We are now looking to expand the strategic product management team within PL Radio – Remote Radio Units. Within the area, a rapid transition to multi-band and multi-antenna radio units are rapidly changing the product positioning and posing new challenges in product design.
As SPM for remote radio units (i.e., classic radios), you will be deeply involved in defining the product strategy, negotiate key product commitments towards the customers and market areas, take responsibility for product life cycle and commercial success for the remote radio unit products – exceeding expectations from the market and maximizing profitability when appropriate, considering dependencies and prioritization within Ericsson. Driving the classic radio portfolio towards a modular design to effectively handle the anticipated increase in radio variants will also be a key task.
Key Responsibilities and tasks:
PLCM of assigned remote radio unit products e2e
Negotiate product requirements with customers
Interface towards PDU during product design of assigned products
Contribute to the strategy definition and execution of the classic radio segment
Contribute to the long-term product plan for the classic segment
Develop the business in accordance with current and future customers’ needs in line with Ericsson strategic goals
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
Min 5 years of experience of product management/development and customer facing roles
Broad knowledge of Ericsson RAN portfolio and holistic insight in the RAN system
Global 5G & RAN market understanding
Strong interpersonal communication skills and highly developed informal leadership skills
The ability to influence internal and external audiences at a senior level
The ability to operate in a changing environment.
