Are you our new Strategic Product Manager?

Arriver™ is a new software unit and brand, fully focused on developing perception, fusion and drive policy software for the next generation cars. It will deliver an open, scalable and flexible architecture solution running on Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ System on a Chip (SoC) platform. Arriver™ has 800 people in five countries - China, Germany, Romania, Sweden, USA - and builds on more than a decade of experience in active safety software development.

In Sweden we are situated in Linkoping, Stockholm and Gothenburg with around 400 colleagues.


What you'll do?

As a Strategic Product Manager (SPM) for our service organization you are responsible for developing and visualize a strategic vision for our product portfolio.

You will interact both with internal and external customers, since our products are by developers and OEMs. You will explore possible solutions to define a long term roadmap; you will follow up on the components evolution within development and usage.

On a weekly basis you will interact with Area product owners who carries out the deployment of the strategy. Your decisions will have impact development direction, cost and product quality. As SPM you will report to Development Enablers director.

- Steering of the development of the product portfolio with a product vision and roadmap: - Direction & prioritization-deciding where to evolve to next, vision, evolution, innovation, and adopting technologies-long-term view
- Relationships and negotiations-keeping everyone happy (enough)
- Judging & predicting- stakeholder needs and new opportunities
- Make it clear what we do not do, what is out of scope
- Act as a bridge between developers and users/customers
- Working closely with the stakeholders to get a deep understanding of the market and future needs
- Work or work closely with developers to get at deep understanding of the technologies and areas to improve and develop





What you'll bring:

To succeed in this position, we think you have some of the following skills

- Good understanding of different sensors such as Vision and Lidar
- Good understanding of calibration and synchronization of sensors
- Good understanding of simulation environments
- Good understanding of synthetic data generation
- Good knowledge of development and deployment practices for computation heavy software
- Basic understanding of deep learning practices and tracking techniques
- Basic knowledge of data management from ground truth and deep learning perspectives
- Knowledge of agile practices
- Ability to see the greater picture both from a technical as well as a commercial perspective
- Proactive, comfortable to act on limited information and with a sense of urgency
- Negotiation and communication skills.

You are fluent in English and preferably Swedish. We think you are technical, able to work close to code and algorithms. Possible you have worked in system or software architect/guardian roles?
