THE CHALLENGE
The world of logistics is changing, driven by global trends such as e-commerce, automation and labor shortage. In the on-demand reality we live in, more and more deliveries need to be assembled to match specific needs. Traditionally, these picking operations are handled manually by dedicated pickers operating manual forklifts or pallet jacks.
Driven by cost reduction and accelerated by labor shortage, the segment of picking is facing imminent disruption by automation.
