ABB Robotics is looking for a Senior Production Developer to join our Strategic Production Development team.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Developer to take the lead in shaping and optimizing our Robotics Production System.
In this role you will report to the Manager Industrial Engineering and you will be a key player driving continuous improvement within our current factory and also prepare for the new Robotics Campus Sweden.
The Senior Production Developer will also play a key role in strategically developing both our current and new factory, focusing on layout, production flows and define and improve our Operating Principles.
Your responsibilities
Support with expertise in feasibility studies for investments in our factory, providing insights to support decision making.
Lead and improve the continuous improvement structure within the organization, driving efficiency and excellence.
Lead the Robotics Production System ensuring optimal performance and securing and spreading best practices within the factory.
Be part of defining and planning the strategic development of our current and the new Robotics Campus Sweden, including layout, flows and Operating principles.
Apply your deep knowledge of lean principles and world-class manufacturing to improve our production processes.
Leverage your experience to implement best-in-class manufacturing practices.
Be passionately dedicated to enhancing production efficiency and effectiveness.
Your background
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of lean principles, world-class manufacturing and production system optimization.
Experience in the automotive industry is highly beneficial.
Excellent strategic production development skills.
Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams in all levels within the organization.
A proactive mindset and a strong will and passion to improve production processes.
