The Utility team at Svea Solar is responsible for utility-scale (i.e. very large!) projects and is currently on a strong growth path both in Sweden and across Europe. For instance, we've just built a solar park in Fjällskär (20.7 MW), making it one of Europe's biggest parks.
The role
As a Project Buyer in our Utility business unit, you’ll be part of a diversified team of leading professionals within the solar industry. The scope of the role is to drive end-to-end sourcing and procurement to deliver the best-in-class CAPEX agreement. You’ll also be responsible for procuring our modules, inverters, mounting systems and transformers for our large-scale solar farms. More specifically, the role entails:
- Commercial project management of the end-to-end sourcing process by coordinating with a multidisciplinary project team.
- Leading intensive commercial and contractual negotiations to achieve the best business results.
- Acting as a liaison between our company and suppliers with aligned communication strategies and managing stakeholders to drive an efficient decision-making process.
- Explore new technologies and solutions to improve the solar offering continuously.
- Collaborate with the Global Procurement department within Svea Solar to leverage processes, scale and scope.

- Experience within construction, electrical systems and/or the energy sector - this one is not a must but is highly meriting.
